Psychiatric Nursing in Home Care

The purpose of this course is to help the home health nurse understand the role of psychiatric nurse in home care, the limitations of the RN or LPN if not experienced in psychiatric nursing and some of the most common psychiatric disorders in the geriatric population. In addition, this course will aid the nurses in understanding Medicare regulations in regards to home health care psychiatric nursing visits.
